Emaline wanted to know what I could do with photoshop, so here is a demonstration of my photoshop skillz.
The above is not fixed, a picture of my sock and my computer screen. As you can see, the sock is a little too dark, and the flower is washed out.
In the edited version above, the flower is coloured in, and the sock is lighter, so you can see the pattern better.
