Hey people. I'm in history right now and, well, it's interesting. We're doing publisher, which we learned in THE FIFTH GRADE. This class is soooo flipping easy, and it's driving me over the edge. Like lose it and do something crazy over the edge. Think just about everything that is posted on blackboard. Pigs with the numbers 1 and 3 painted on their backs, let loose in the school- talk about kickass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now she's telling us that we're "slowpoking it"-wtf? Where on earth do these sayings come from? (methinks earth should be Earth, all proper nounie(ms.c soooooooooooo would hunt me down and skin me like a fish if she read this))
Nothing written in this blog post should be taken literally. Peace out.

Debate Team!
Bad blogger didn't write all weekend! Tsk, tsk. Well, I'm back, having bombed and English essay (wanna play guess Sam's grade in the comments?) Am feeling rather odd. I don't know what to do with myself, and I want to write, I really do, but I'm at the library, and my USB drive won't work properly (it didn't work at school either, which makes me think that either my computer hates my guts, or my drive is dead and decomposing) and I really shouldn't start a new story, especially not this close to Nanowrimo. Conscience vs. Gut. Who will win?
The reason I'm staying after school is that there was a debate team meeting after school, and all the after school stuff seems to end before 4:45 when the late bus comes. Debate was pretty rockin', and we debated about, you know, whether or not the US should colonize, you know, ANTARCTICA. And about the killing of penguins. Totally normal, cool stuff. Way cool.

Guts vs. No Clue vs. OMG would you just SHUT UP!
So, today in history I did something of questionable intelligence (this is very much indifferent to average day in history class).
See, I've really only been putting forth effort this year in history through these journal entries (I would so have a picture of my history journal here if I was at home) that we have to do every once in a while. We're supposed to express our opinion on whatever we're talking about in class with 2 4-sentence paragraphs (if I did this in English, let's just say that I would not be here now. I would be dead. Very dead.(a week ago, my English teacher went on a rant (there's lots of rants) about how the Social Studies and Science departments are very lax about good writing, spelling, and grammar. This makes the English teachers very mad)) A.K.A. half a page. I've been writing two or more pages for a while now, in my very conversational writing style (actually, I don't really know about my writing style. I just think I write like I talk. This makes very little sense to people other than me.) This writing is basically the only out of the ordinary thing I do in History, other than being unreasonably loud and kind of obnoxiously (I can't help it, I think it's genetic. just look at my brother(this somehow reminds me of that time in Seminar that Aaron was talking about how his family is all crazy and does head shaking things, along with how he's related to Willy Wonka. Don't ask))
I think my history teacher may actually like reading stuff that I write. WOAH. I'm feeling that my writing is very kickass right now. This is a very good feeling(you know, being on top of the world, you can do anything-ish).
After I was done with the most recent writing assignment, I wrote in my history journal, something along the lines of the following:
Rule #1. Don't judge.
Rule #2.Don't tell the counselors or psychologists about anything I write in here.
This year I'm making an effort to know teachers like real people (you know what I mean?), and I think that part of the way to go about doing that is to tell you about myself, so here goes. I try to tell teachers something about myself every year. Last year this telling about myself was on the back of my science tests, and eventually ended with me going to the school psychologist (dudes, I didn't even know that the school had a psychologist) which was not fun at all. In fact, it kinda sucked, and they all thought that I was crazy. The year before that, I communicated through my English journal, which did not end up getting me in any trouble. The year before that....well...I hated my teacher, but at least LEAP was fun (no more funds for LEAP thanks to No Child Left Behind. I <3 ya bush!). All in all, I am maybe a teensey bit crazy. In a good way.
I have no clue what I want to do with my life. Some of the options in my EDP (educational developemet plan so we can all know what we want to do with our lives in the seventh grade)include Criminoligist, Artist, Writer, Tattoo Artist (this is really just to freak people out),and something else...was it Teacher? I can't remember. Is it kinda sad that I have not a clue about this? Pondering that.
So, that's what I remember writing. If I can, I'll type up the real version and post it here.
Vote for guts, no clue, or OMG would you just shut up! in the comments!
Until next time, Crazyville loves you.

Girl Scouts (with bonus bag pictures!)
The bag and Richie-poo. Am I the only one thinking "deranged beret"?
The Bag on my feet. Lovely, isn't it? That's exactly how far one skein of Cascade 220 goes when double stranded.

How could you people not tell me this!?!?
I was reading cosmicpluto knits, and she posted about a new pattern. In the FALL KNITTY! How could nobody tell me that there was a new knitty? The things I must have RIGHT NOW are below
Neiman, from knitty. I really like this sweater. If I made it, the colors would probably be black and pink, because I like the combination, and they match my chucks. And there would be long sleeves, because the Hi! School is REALLY COLD. I've been wearing some sort of sweater or hoodie all week, and in middle school I would wear t-shirts all winter long. I think the universe is telling me to work on the sweater, or else.
Entwined, Also from knitty. I like this because it's really original. Most accessory patterns (and most patterns for anything, come to think of it) are just variations on the same old thing, which can get boring and not so creative.
I also liked the subway knitting article. I've never knit on the subway, since there isn't one in my area.
Q. This is something I would make in 10 years, when I have loads of experiance with colorwork and sock knitting. It looks really cool.
It's a beautiful day outside, so I'm going to do my homework on the front porch.

Geez.
I'm super busy with school. Well, not super busy, but busy enough that I keep forgetting to blog. Imagine a picture
here
That's the sock, which I started yesterday after school. Lovely, isn't it? I know.
In other news, we got new shiny history textbooks. I am such a nerd.
We have to write an essay for English, and there's a journal entry that I want to finish up for history. I'd probably be done with it if I had the capicaty to fit a large amount of information in a small amount of space.

What Genius Self has Done
So, on Sunday I was at this meeting for youth group, and nobody was raising their hand, and my hand slipped up, uncontrolled by my mind, and...
I'm the new co-president of youth group. Smooth move there, wasn't it? Yeah

500, Yarn, Movies, Yarn, School
There are officially 500 more days with Bush. We shall not talk about how much this depresses me. I seriously thought that there was just one year, or maybe a year and a month, what with all this talk of the election. I won't be able to vote, but knowing these things makes me feel like a useful member of society, which is a good feeling.
I am kind of in love with that blue stripe, right between the purple and the green... Yes, my toenails are purple.
